Philosophy Taught in Prison

Philosophy is now being taught in the prison system? This is an interesting development. It's not currently accredited but there is a movement to get it there. Aside from the value to convicts, this could create some news state funded positions, at least for those who like a bit of excitement. According to Wikipedia, there are 2,292,133 adults currently incarcerated (2009) and a further 86,927 juveniles (2007) searving sentences in the US. Not to be completely insensitive  that is a large potential student body.  Full article HERE
